A little TLC for your Jewellery
If you’re anything like me then your skin probably took a bit of a hammering over the summer break, a bit too much sun, loads of sunscreen, saltwater, a fair bit of sand and a little bit of glow (girls don’t sweat, we glow!). It’s time to book an appointment with our favourite beauty therapist.
Chances are that if your skin suffered then so did your jewellery and it might be time to give them a little TLC.
Saltwater, sunscreen & glow () will gunk up your jewellery, especially rings and while you were building that prize-winning dinosaur sandcastle, complete with shell scales and sea-weed fire plumes, sand was having a joyous time wriggling its way into tiny spaces between stones and their metal settings. If you want to clean your rings or other jewellery, use warm soapy water and gently rub with a soft toothbrush. Rinse in clean water and pat dry. Make sure each piece has dried properly before you put it away.
