This year, Showcase Jewellers Te Awamutu won ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ at the Waipa Networks Business Awards.

BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Winning this award involves so much more than providing excellent customer service. Yes, exceptional customer interaction forms a key part, but there are so many processes happening behind the scenes which form the foundation of providing our customers with an excellent all-round experience.

In order to win this award, we had to raise the bar again. We are always looking for new technology and ways to improve our service and customer experience, which is what the judges were looking for – improvement from when we won the award in previous years (2014, 2007, 2005)

Our aim is to ‘Create Precious Memories’ for our customers and our team. Our team is innovative, has a lot of fun and works well together for the benefit of our customers.

Our team are encouraged to listen, ask questions, offer suggestions, educate and problem solve with the ultimate goal to provide the best shopping experience for our customers. For example, during an Engagement or dress ring enquiry, we provide information and diamond guide brochures. After a Diamond or precious gemstone ring purchase we follow up with a satisfaction check approximately 2 weeks later with the ring wearer. During this check we provide a purchase certificate, ring care education, insurance & valuation ‘best practise’ information, 12 months free Jewellery cleaning voucher, 10 year WOF certificates and a few other surprise goodies.
